Mulholland 01 | i also posted this question in the tire/wheel section. Sorry for the dupe. Quick question. I was looking to order a set of Budnik wheels and I wanted to see if the 17x8 front wheel what would proper backspacing be? I would like to make sure I order the correct backspacing. Also, what would the proper backspacing be for the 20x10 6.25? Lastly, what would the widest wheel be that I could fit on the rear and still be able to fit on a 295/40/20 tire without any rubbing issues to frame, etc. and also the backspacing. Reason I’m asking is because Budnik makes them in 20x10, 20x10.5, & 20x12 so if I could I’d like to get the widest rim that would fit my 295/40. Thanks in advance |
robin | Old thread about foose wheels off sets and wheels might help may not . http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum8/HTML/000068.html http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum8/HTML/000087.html Thanks Mark This message has been edited by robin on 07-01-2019 at 09:20 AM |
robin | I just installed new tires . Rear 294 45 20 pretty close to the frame rear wheel well. |
Mulholland 01 | Thanks guys. I’ll start looking into it. |
mslc10 | If you have any questions I’ll try and help. Careful with wheel dealers, they will sell you wrong backspace wheels and if you mount tires to those wheels you just “bought” them, they won’t take them back. Stick with the numbers in the links above and you won’t go wrong. |
Mulholland 01 | Thanks very much for the info. I plan on purchasing directly thru Budnik. Thanks again! |
